R.U.O.K. (Are you OK?) - Lower Columbia Community Action Program (CAP)

Provides a free, daily check-in service by telephone for individuals that live alone and have medical issues putting them at risk. A staff member or volunteer will call the client on a daily basis at an agreed upon time to assure that all things are going well for the day. In the event that a call goes unanswered, protocol is that phone calls will be made every 15 minutes for the next hour or until answered. If still unanswered, the emergency contact person is notified.
