The SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) HelpLine is a statewide network of trained volunteer advisors that offer free assistance to residents. Advisors help residents of all ages and backgrounds with questions about health insurance, health care access and prescription drug plans, and they can assist with problems or instances of fraud.
Lower Columbia CAP in Longview is the host for residents in Cowlitz, Wahkiakum or Lewis Counties. Advisors are available to meet with residents either in person or by telephone.
Call to arrange an appointment. The service is free, non-biased and confidential. SHIBA is a program of the Consumer Protection Division within the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
