National Alliance on Mental Illness SW WA - NAMI SW WA

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwest Washington -- NAMI SW WA -- is dedicated to assisting ALL individuals affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy whether they are individuals living with a diagnosis, family members, or friends and coworkers. Our service region is Cowlitz, Clark, and Skamania counties. The NAMI SW WA Longview office is located at 1128 Broadway Street, 360-703-6722, jan.k@namiswwa.org, were we offer an array of support groups, educational programs and one-on-one confidential counseling.

Sea Mar Community Health Center

Sea Mar is a Community Health Center offering mental health outpatient services to children and adults in Cowlitz County. Our experienced therapists can help identify and manage problems and symptoms related to mental health. They are trained to work effectively with children, youth and adults; and provide assessments, case management, individual, family and group therapy. We are also able to provide psychiatric medication.

The clinic is located at 1710 Allen St, in Kelso WA.

River Cities Transit

RiverCities Transit offers transportation within the Longview-Kelso city limits. RiverCities Transit Lift para-transit services is door to door transportation for the disabled (360) 442-5667. Certification is required for para-transit services and forms are available through the office. Bus schedules and information are available on the website or by contacting the office or at Longview and Kelso City Halls.

Woodland Community Service Center

Free food distribution on Tuesdays from 12 – 5 PM. Provides warehouse shopping once per week for clothes, shoes, dishes, toys, bedding, furniture, books and other general household items on Tuesday or Thursday from 11 AM – 4:45 PM. Photo ID for anyone 18 years and older. Any kind of ID for those 17 and younger (with the exception of a social security card) and a current proof of address (within 2 months). Donations are accepted Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM – 5 PM.

Goodwill Work Opportunity Center of Cowlitz County

Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Job Placement and Retention Services, including Job Coaching if needed. Potential clients would apply for vocational services through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and once accepted would request that the Work Opportunity Center of Cowlitz County be their employment vendor. Staff is fluent in ASL.

Individual Supported Employment. Long term job retention services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, including Job Coaching. Referral is made by the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
