River Cities Transit

RiverCities Transit offers transportation within the Longview-Kelso city limits. RiverCities Transit Lift para-transit services is door to door transportation for the disabled (360) 442-5667. Certification is required for para-transit services and forms are available through the office. Bus schedules and information are available on the website or by contacting the office or at Longview and Kelso City Halls.

 One-Way Ticket (Adult and Students)  $1.00

 One-Way Ticket (Reduced*)  $ 0.50

 One Day Pass (Adults and Students)  $2.00

Community Services Office (CSO) -Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS)

Services Provided: Services available to families and individuals, including cash, medical, food, child care and social services. The CSO administers state and federal public welfare programs. These include medical programs for aged, blind and disabled individuals, children and pregnant women. We also administer medical programs that assist Medicare recipients with their co-pays and deductibles and with drug and alcohol treatment. There are other medical assistance programs available so we encourage anyone to apply who may be in need of medical assistance.

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) - Cowlitz County Health Department

The Nurse-Family Partnership is a FREE nurse home visiting program for women who are having their first baby, are low income and are less than 28 weeks pregnant. A nurse visits each family every week or two during pregnancy and until the baby is 2 years old.

Children with Special Healthcare Needs (CSHCN) Cowlitz County Health Department

The mission of this program is to promote integrated systems of care that assure that children with special health care needs have the opportunity to achieve the healthiest life possible and develop to their fullest potential. The Children with Special Health Care Needs program serves children with physical, behavioral, or emotional conditions that require health and related services beyond those required by children generally. Client referrals can be made by families, school, medical providers, and others to the CSHCN Coordinator in the County Health Department where the child lives.
