Sea Mar Community Health Center

Sea Mar is a Community Health Center offering mental health outpatient services to children and adults in Cowlitz County. Our experienced therapists can help identify and manage problems and symptoms related to mental health. They are trained to work effectively with children, youth and adults; and provide assessments, case management, individual, family and group therapy. We are also able to provide psychiatric medication.

The clinic is located at 1710 Allen St, in Kelso WA.

Community programs including annual Walk-n-Knock food drive for local food banks. Children's Easter egg hunt. Scholarships for graduating seniiors. Multiple District #9 operates a free mobile medical van for screening of vision and glaucoma, hearing, blood pressure and diabetes; walk-ins welcome. Medical equipment to lend out including wheelchairs, crutches, nebulizers, etc. Call for information on membership and/or services.

Cathlamet Dental

Cathlamet Dental was originally formed by Douglas Martin DMD, who practiced until November 2014 when Corey Blankenship, DDS purchased the existing practice.  Dr. Martin had looked for over a year to find the right person to fit the community of Cathlamet. Dr. Blankenship is a graduate of the New York University, College of Dentistry.  After graduating from NYU, Dr. Blankenship served as an active duty dentist for the US Navy, first with the Marines at Parris Island, South Carolina, and then aboard the USS John C. Stennis, an aircraft carrier stationed in Bremerton, WA.

Senior Transportation - Lower Columbia Community Action Program (CAP)

SERVICES PROVIDED: Senior transportation is available to Cowlitz and Wahkiakum seniors age 60 and over. By wheelchair accessible van for Longview, Kelso, and Lexington residents who live outside the CUBS service who are to come into town for medical appointments and shopping services. Volunteer drivers are available to transport people for medical appointments in the Portland/Vancouver area, and as far north as Seattle (the wheelchair van is not available for those trips). Due to budget constraints, this service is limited to two round trips per month per client.

Seniors Eyecare Program

SERVICES PROVIDED: The Seniors EyeCare Program helps to ensures that every senior has access to medical eye care and promotes annual, dilated eye exams. It raises awareness about age-related eye disease including cataracts, provides free eye care educational materials and facilities access to eye care. It provides a comprehensive medical eye exam and care for anything diagnosed at that exam for up to one year at no out-of-pocket cost for the physician’s services.

Senior Community Lunches - Lower Columbia Community Action Program (CAP)

Provides hot lunches to seniors 60 years of age and older in a community meal setting. There are eight (8) different sites in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties. The goal is to provide fellowship and information as well as serving a nutritional meal.  Suggested donation of $2.50 per meal.
