Evergreen AIDS Foundation

Building on its essential core of case management and client advocacy, Evergreen AIDS Foundation provides free community outreach, education, prevention outreach, counseling and testing, mental health counseling, clinical support groups, emergency financial assistance, food assistance, housing assistance, peer advocacy, volunteer services and psychosocial support for persons with HIV disease and their families. Hours: Monday – Friday by Appointment (or drop-in – call at the door), Saturday – Sunday Closed


Children with Special Healthcare Needs (CSHCN) Cowlitz County Health Department

The mission of this program is to promote integrated systems of care that assure that children with special health care needs have the opportunity to achieve the healthiest life possible and develop to their fullest potential. The Children with Special Health Care Needs program serves children with physical, behavioral, or emotional conditions that require health and related services beyond those required by children generally. Client referrals can be made by families, school, medical providers, and others to the CSHCN Coordinator in the County Health Department where the child lives.


Progress Center

The Progress Center offers services in education with: Special instruction (teacher); Speech & Language Pathologist; Occupation Therapy; Physical Therapy

The Progress Center provides early intervention, education, therapy and prevention to young children birth to age 3 with special developmental needs or with risk of developmental delays that live in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties.


Northwest Psychological Services

NWPR clinicians represent the highest standard in clinical competence, professionalism, and ethical behavior. While autonomous in practice, clinicians will function in an integrated and complementary manner. NWPR clinicians will be actively invested in the local community, establishing an individual and corporate presence through educational, business, and philanthropic activities, as well as tasteful marketing and innovative service delivery which is responsive to the needs of the community.



Awakenings is a drug or alcohol rehabilitation center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The treatment center provides outpatient and partial hospitalization care. There are no special groups or programs offered at this facility. Special language services provided include spanish. Payments via private insurance is accepted. Payment assistance is not offered for program costs.
